How to Get Your Russia Work Permit

If you want to work in the Russian Federation, you need a work pass. A work pass can be good for up to 90 days and can be given for one or two entries. A work permit can also be given for repeated entries and can be good for as long as three years. The dates that your permit is good will be the same as the dates on your invitation letter from the Russian Federal Migration Service.
When you ask for a work permit, you need to show that you have done an HIV test. When highly skilled specialists apply for a work permit with multiple entries for three years, they do not need to send a cover letter.
Required papers: a current passport with at least two blank pages (they don't have to be next to each other) and a validity of at least six months after the permit expires.
The visa application form was filled out and printed from the website e-immigration.ru. Please make sure that the dates you put on the application form for when you enter and leave match with or fall within the dates in the supporting documents.

When you ask for a work permit, you also need to turn in an HIV (AIDS) test result from the last three months. The certificate from an HIV test (AIDS) should still be good for 15 to 30 days from the day that you apply.
Health insurance with at least €30,000 worth of coverage that is good in Russia.
